Enterprise Learning
The KJS Enterprise Commitment
At Kensington Junior School, we are committed to altering and enhancing the skills and ambitions of our children in order to face the challenges of their ever changing future with confidence and enthusiasm. We are in the early stages of embedding enterprise learning into our curriculum, beginning with the development of the skills and qualities needed by children to face their future. These are known as The Big 13, and were developed by the national social enterprise Ready Unlimited. Each term, we focus on one or two skills to develop with the children. These skills are rooted in to opportunities created by the staff, with the children having an understanding of the enterprise skills they are using and how these will aid them in the future. |
